We completed the 3-game sweep vs DePaul this weekend. The first game ended with a score of 21-11 (lots of errors were made) with a big homerun from Wes Young. The Gophers then followed up that game with a 12-2 win to end Saturday. On Sunday junior Noah Salonen went beast mode and pitched a complete game 1-hitter with more than enough strikeouts, while sophomore Johnny Goth slugged a clutch solo homerun in the 6th inning to make it 2-1 (the final score). Sophomore Luke Mahler added an RBI single in the 4th inning. The team does not play this weekend, but will play up at University of North Dakota (conference series) on the weekend of October 12-14th. We improve to 4-1 after this weekend and are looking forward to the rest of the fall season as the conference series get into full swing. Go Gophs! #RowTheBoat
