The team found out yesterday (Monday) that they were chosen for the at-large bid in the NCBA Division 2, District 5 tournament this weekend in Sheboygan, WI. All the hard work over the season has finally paid off. The team has not made the playoffs in a long time so this is a huge milestone in the program. This is a great way for the seniors to go out on a high note.

 

 

The team will play at 7pm on Friday night against the number 1 seed Grand Valley State University. GVS come into the tournament at 20-0 and as the #2 team in the most recent Rawlings Poll. Everyone loves an underdog so the team will put everything on the line to get the win. The other two teams in the tournament: University of Wisconsin and fellow District 5-West team MSUM.
