03/08/2013 - Spring News

Hello Everyone

As we start the month of March the team has started practice and getting back into the groove of things. Unless you're [Ryan O'Connell] who says he doesn't need to practice because he hit a bomb in the fall. Other than that the team is looking good thus far. Hopefully all the rust will be off for the spring opener on April 6/7 here in the cities against Moorhead State. The team is hoping that they can propell off their last weekend in the fall with 2 great pitching performances from Bryan Sylla who tossed a complete game and a W. Also from Marshall Dalziel who flirtted with a no-hitter through 5 2/3 before finally giving up a hit. Then handed the ball over in the 7th where a collapse happened on the mound. The bats finally showed up during the weekend. There is a lot to look forward to in this upcoming spring. Whether that be a home series to open up the spring, brand new apperal, or playing in a Minor League Stadium against NDSU in Fargo.

In the upcoming weeks we will try to give you guys updates and hopefully some interviews from the players. We really hope to see you guys at opening weekend.
